MBA PASS Program
For individuals who are interested in a flexible, customizable counseling model, MBA PASS allows candidates to determine the number and frequency of advising sessions, and the topics covered in each appointment.
Your advisor will help you develop a personalized, actionable strategy and plan for crafting and submitting your MBA applications. Counseling topics include, but are not limited to:
The first required element of MBA PASS is the completion of your Five-Point Life History & Future Vision™ – a self-assessment tool that will enable your advisor to review your background information and accurately assess your candidacy. At your first appointment (typically 60-90 minutes), your advisor will share honest, detailed feedback on your strengths and weaknesses in academics, work and leadership experiences, career vision, etc., as they relate to the admission process.
You and your advisor will discuss the appropriate “fit” between you and the schools under consideration to develop a school strategy that makes sense for you. Your advisor will also help you: (a) understand the purpose and meaning of the application questions; and (b) translate your profile and the messages you hope to communicate to each school.
In preparation for writing the essays, your advisor will explain the purpose and meaning of each school’s application questions. Your advisor will also help you select the personal and professional stories that best highlight your strengths and talents, and which you may wish to use to effectively communicate via the written application.
Your advisor can work with you on every part of the application forms.
Your advisor will review and give specific feedback on multiple drafts of your short and long form essays.
Your advisor will help you carefully review all of your options for selecting and managing your recommenders, and develop an effective strategy for your recommendations with respect to each school’s requirements.
Your advisor can help you develop a robust resume.
Your advisor can work with you one-on-one to review best interview practices and rehearse common and/or difficult interview questions.
Your advisor will also be available to counsel you on a variety of issues that may arise throughout the MBA application process, including waitlist advising and enrollment decision-making.
MBA Pass Options
Your advisor can help you to determine the appropriate number of counseling sessions for your application needs.
Applicants applying to 2 schools typically utilize a minimum of 15 hours of counseling over the course of the MBA application process. However, if you are applying to 2-3 schools including Stanford and/or Harvard, it is more common to utilize 20 or 25 Hours of counseling.
This is TAAG’s flexible, customizable 15-hour program. It allows applicants to use their 15 hours to apply to 1-2 schools and focus on discrete segments of the application process such as profile development, school selection, essay and resume review, and interview prep.
This is TAAG’s flexible, customizable 20-hour program. It allows applicants to use their 20 hours to apply to 1-3 schools and use the time to focus on discrete segments of the application process such as profile development, school selection, essay and resume review, and interview prep.
This is TAAG’s flexible, customizable 25-hour program. It allows applicants to use their 25 hours to apply to 2-4 schools and use the time to focus on discrete segments of the application process such as profile development, school selection, essay and resume review, and interview prep.
