FAQs
How would you describe TAAG’s approach to the graduate school admission process?
We are a boutique firm with three original co-founders/advisors with 60+ combined years of admission and higher education experience, 44 of which were at Stanford University, and we partner with our clients as we guide and advise them through the admission process.
Our approach is a highly personalized, one-on-one partnership with each client, with a curriculum-based approach to the work we do.
We are passionate about the transformative value of higher education in someone’s life. This is what drives us in our work.
I know that the TAAG founders worked as members of the Stanford MBA Admissions Committee. Do TAAG advisors work with applicants who are applying to other business schools, too?
Yes, we do. As long-time admission professionals and consultants, we are knowledgeable about business school admission across the spectrum of top schools. We visit the top schools annually, meet with administrators, faculty, and our former clients to stay current on academic, admission, career management, financial aid, housing, etc., topics at each school. We then share that knowledge and insights with our clients
When does TAAG open enrollment and begin accepting new clients each year?
We begin interviewing prospective clients in January, but official enrollment in our programs will begin February annually. Depending upon our client load, we may continue to accept new clients throughout the year on a space-available basis. Please feel free to contact us anytime for information on our availability.
What are TAAG’s payment options?
We offer payment options including Zelle, PayPal, bank wire transfer, or personal check. Once you commit to work with TAAG, we include detailed instructions on our enrollment steps and payment options in the enrollment contract sent to each new client.
Will I be working with, or assigned to, one or more TAAG advisors depending upon the list of schools to which I plan to apply?
You will be working with one primary TAAG advisor throughout the entire application process based upon the “fit” between you and your advisor. We ask our clients to complete a simple questionnaire where you answer questions about your work style, feedback, and scheduling preferences, and then we “match” you with a TAAG advisor who is the best “fit” for your preferences and needs. We strive to make the application process both thoroughly professional and enjoyable.
For our MAP and MBA PASS clients, we include two (2) specific appointments with a second TAAG advisor for additional professional perspective and guidance including feedback on our clients’ applications prior to final submission as well as extensive interview preparation.
